| Home | Resources | You Cure Anxiety | Do You Have Anxiety? Do You Want Help? By: Kristi Ambrose Chances are if you have anxiety and panic attacks - you want to get rid of them! I have had this ever since I was a baby supposedly. And it is not a fun thing to go through. The sad thing is that unless you have experienced it - you think it's just in our heads. Or its "not that bad". A few years back I had a friend that used to tell me it was all in my head. Just recently she was having a stressful day at work and she finally experienced what I go through on a weekly basis. She said it was one of the most horrible things she ever went through. She couldn't decide if she was having a heart attack or if she was ready to go unconscious. And for a lot of us - this is what we deal with every single day of our lives. Fortunately if you do have anxiety or panic attacks there is a place that will help you figure out how to get rid of it - without medication. I'm a big anti-medication person. I don't think medication is the only cure in the world. Other things can cure and aid in things as well such as therapy (talking to someone), change in diet, exercise, yoga, etc. These are the things you want to look for in order to aid in anxiety. Recently I found a really nice website online that is all about anxiety. Not only do they have articles on what anxiety is - which could help you aid in making your friends or family understand what you are going through. But if you don't know what anxiety is and think you might have it - there are articles for that as well. Such as a symptoms article I found which lists things like; racing heart, sweaty palms, nausea and much more. I also saw another very interesting thing on this site that really caught my eye. You know a lot of these sites talk and talk and talk, but they really have no experience in something like this. This site was different. You could actually ask the person who runs the site a question about anxiety! There are a few pre-written questions and answers for you, but there is also an actual "ask" area which will allow you to ask your questions and actually get an answer from someone who knows what you are going through. They also have some extra options as well such as a newsletter, case studies about how to get rid of panic attacks and much more. All in all if you have anxiety, think you have anxiety or you know someone with anxiety, you should really consider checking sites like this out. By the way? Anxiety is not a disease. Nor is it an illness. Just because you have anxiety does not mean you have anything wrong with you. It's a simple problem with serious results. And it is a real disorder. But it is a disorder that can be stopped by reading and following the necessary information and techniques.
